In the Summer of 2007, Iraqui locals accused the British army of releasing "strange, man-eating, bear-like beasts" in and around Basra. These creatures were later identified by experts as our friend The Honey Badger.

Of course the military categorically denied the rumour:

"We can categorically state that we have not released man-eating badgers into the area."

I first learned about Honey Badgers about a year ago whilst watching a kids TV documentary about a zoo. I can't remember what the show was called but I do remember how fantastic the Honey Badgers were in it. They're the toughest, smartest and most vicious creatures I've ever seen.

I found myself getting impatient because, in comparison, all the other animals in the zoo were sh*t.

Anywho, I created this blog to collect together all the excellent Internet resources about Honey Badgers and tell the world about this marvellous species.
